I was born in Canada and relocated to Florida in 2018.  I am married and have two children. Yoga has been part of my life for the past 7 years. I was inspired take my teacher training by one of my teachers who came to yoga later in her life.  I recently completed my yoga teacher training in Hatha Yoga and I am a proud Yoga Alliance Certified teacher.  During my training, I had the opportunity to learn from and study with Swami Adaityananda Saraswati.  In addition, I am also certified in Restorative Yoga.

Nikki

Nikki

Nikki is a certified yoga teacher that has been teaching yoga in the Tampa area for over ten years. Nikki first came to that mat to change up her workout routine and never left. Her favorite style of yoga is a power flow, solely because it is her ‘go-to’ to quiet the mind, if for only the duration of the practice.  A Bay area home-grown, Nikki spends her free time outdoors, with her family or watching any of the local sports teams play.

Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 20 years. The practice has helped me grow stronger physically and mentally, both on and off the mat. Yoga has taught me to breathe through life’s ups and downs, trust in myself, and connect with people on a deeper level. I am passionate about helping my students transform mind, body, and soul through yoga and a healthy lifestyle. I completed my 200 HR training with Ananda and I am a Registered, Dietetic Technician. When I’m not doing yoga or talking about and eating healthy food, you can typically find me cheering on one of my 4 kids at their soccer games or happily washing and folding never-ending piles of laundry.

I have personally always been going through this training has brought a deeper meaning to all that I have believed and loved about yoga. I have been involved in coaching or teaching in some way for most of my life and now to join two of my passions is a dream. When I am not doing my Hatha Yoga flows, I am enjoying Acro Yoga, chasing my kiddo around or playing with our family dog!
